The date of Frozen 3’s release has been announced. Originally scheduled to premiere on November 25, 2026, the much anticipated sequel was revealed during D23 to appear in 2027, with Frozen 4 following in 2028. Concept art at D23 teases Elsa, Anna, and Olaf riding toward a brightly illuminated, floating metropolis while the shadow of an enigmatic horned figure looms behind them in the first half of a two-part plot that will continue into Frozen 4.
Deadline reports that Frozen 3 will now open in theaters on November 24, 2027, which means it will coincide with Thanksgiving of that year. This is in line with the previous films in the franchise, which were released on November 27, 2013, for the first Frozen and November 22, 2019 for the first Frozen 2. The time between the theatrical releases of the Frozen franchise will be the shortest ever between Frozen 3 and Frozen 4.
