Expectations Regarding On Swift Horses
Cast, Story, and More
After Lee (Poulter) returns from the Korean War, Muriel (Edgar-Jones) and her husband Lee (Poulter) are about to start a new chapter in their life. However, their plans are derailed when Julius (Elordi), Lee’s younger brother, shows up. Lee believes the three of them can start again in California, but Julius goes to Las Vegas, where he works as a waiter at a casino and has a covert relationship with Henry (Calva), a male coworker. In the meantime, Muriel sets out on her own covert journey in San Diego, placing bets on racehorses and discovering a love she never would have imagined.
According to Calva, On Swift Horses features “some pretty hot scenes” between him and Elordi, which makes it the ideal sequel to Saltburn and Euphoria, which both have some quite graphic scenes with Elordi. Edgar-Jones, his co-star, has experience with intimate stuff as well. She rose to fame in the Hulu miniseries Normal People with Paul Mescal, where they starred together and won critical acclaim for their realistic sex scenes.
